Alcoholism in the family

The purpose of the thesis is to look into the lives of adult children of alcoholics. The aim of the thesis is to compare the links among the educational environment, genetic predisposition of children of alcoholics and their own choice and attitude towards alcohol. I will find out if the children of alcoholics live a different life than the one handed down to tohem in their childhood. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part, I focus on information about alcohol, addictions and family. This information is fundamental for the practical part. The practical part is devoted to research about adult children of alcoholics. Using the method of semi-structured interviews, I try to achieve the main goal of the work. In the end, I will eveluate whether I have fulfilled the objective of the bachelor's thesis.
Educational envinronment of Waldorf preschool in Prague with its philosophical starting point

This exploratory case study is focused on the educational environment and the school climate in one particular Waldorf preschool in Prague. Emphasis of the research was oriented towards the original philosophical basis of Rudolf Steiner, who invented Waldorf education in the early 20th century. The goal of this study was to underpin the specific environment and point out the way, in which the principles of Steiner education are demonstrated in the environment. Within the qualitative research method I have created complex questionnaires for two groups of respondents: parents and teachers. In the creation of the questionnaires I have utilized my own experience form the environment and my knowledge of Waldorf theory and theory of climate. The questionnaires have created a template with predefined codes. After the respondents answered the questionnaires, the codes than got their unique characterizations. The output of this study is a defined elementary hypothesis about functioning and affecting of the environment and the climate from the viewpoint of the two groups of respondents. The subject of my bachelor thesis is Salesian pedagogy and its development after 1989 in the Czech Republic. In the education of youth, Salesian pedagogy utilizes a preventive educational system. This system is applied in so-called Salesian Youth Centers. In my work, I focused on the pedagogical methods currently used in these centers. The main aim of my thesis was to monitor the development of approaches and methods from year 1990 to prezent. This development is documented by several interviews I have made with the Salesian centre respondents.
Youth Training in Dukla Praha Football Club

The main research objective of this thesis is to determine how the intentions of educational activities carried out by the football club correspond with observable reality. The theoretical section of the thesis deals with the educational environment in the context of a football club. Further analysis of the club documents and interviews with coaches to determine their educational aims. The empirical part of the research presents the results of observation as well as a comparison of these results with educational aims proclaimed by the club. We have found that the aims fully correspond with observed reality. The club prefers personal development of players and their enjoyment of the game to match results. The educational strategy in Dukla Praha draws on the assumption that education of a strong personality is crucial for education of an excellent athlete.
Educational styles of secondary school teachers

The present thesis is devoted to educational styles of secondary school teachers. The literary overview describes progressively the most important educational environment of high school students - their family, school and peers. This section provides more detailed information about socialization in adolescence. The interaction with other people is considered as the starting point of their socialization. The concept of "significant others" (parents, teachers) as an irreplaceable factor of adolescent's development and growth is particularly highlights at the thesis. Follow-up to the characteristics of interaction and communication at pedagogical-psychological context the different views of educational styles of teachers and specifics that relate to the educational environment of secondary schools are introduced. In another part of the thesis a research project is proposed. It pays attention to secondary school teachers who teach "Pedagogy" and "Psychology" which are characterized briefly by their specific position in relation to the educational styles at the introduction. The comparison of the educational environment of groups of adolescent girls with and without conduct disorders

The presented thesis deals with the comparison of the educational environment of adolescent girls with and without conduct disorders. It concentrates primarily on the educational environments of family and school, in respect of their importance for the socialization of the individual. The theoretical section first briefly characterizes the adolescent period in its bio- psycho-social aspects. Furthermore it is dedicated to the issue of conduct disorders, their classification, symptoms, but also the etiology or specifics of these problems in girls. In conclusion, it offers insight into correlation between different characteristics of the educational environments and conduct disorders with a focus on the specifics in girls. The empirical part then aims to compare the educational environment of girls with and without conduct disorders through twenty detailed case studies of girls aged fourteen to eighteen. One half of the studies concerns with girls placed in institutional facilities, because of their problematic behaviour. The other half is focused on girls without educational troubles. The diploma thesis deals with the educational environment relating to the development of conduct disorders in adolescent girls. These are mainly the educational environments of family and school, in respect of their importance for the socialization of the individual. The theoretical part first briefly characterizes the adolescent period in its bio-psycho- social aspects. Further it deals with the issue of conduct disorders, their classification, manifestation, but also the etiology or specifics of these problems in girls. In conclusion it offers insight into correlation between different characteristics of the educational environments and conduct disorders with a focus on the specifics in girls. The empirical part of the work aims to map the possible relationship between conduct disorders in girls and educational environment by the form of ten detailed case studies of girls aged fourteen to sixteen placed in institutional facilities. Both qualitative and quantitative methods have been used for this research. The diploma project contributes to understanding the psychological context of the problematic development of adolescent girls and brings new data into the wider monitoring project of educational environment in adolescents.
